Biography:

Poise, important. Image, important. Knowing how to save face in a tight situation? Important. One older sister and two parents heavily involved in politics taught Kim Seolhyun one thing, never let them see you sweat. Born right in the heart of Seoul, Seolhyun had been fed with a silver spoon in her mouth. Maids to clean after her, a man who cooked every meal just how she liked it and and older sister to beat up all of the mean jerks that upset her in school. Everything seemed great until the girls' parents got too busy to properly watch over the girls and sent them off to live with their grandparents who had happily settled in Vancouver. Now, Seolhyun was only six at the time so it wasn't like she was so attached to Korea, but to leave her parents and everything else she knew was a lot for her to take on.

Unlike her older sister though, Seolhyun adjusted to the new area quite easily. Taking ESL classes during and after school, adopting a new name that she picked because of the color it was associated with and even making friends pretty easily. Ice skating because a passion of hers from a young age because of the fact it was such a popular activity in the area. Other sports and such became something she liked as well, such as tennis, handball, dance and cooking. Her specialty because what would be considered Canadian, or American food, with a side of Korean cuisine she had learned from her grandmother. Throughout her school years, she had done a lot of junior professional skating, and obviously wanted to take it seriously. Seeing herself on television was a plus, too. What kid/teen wouldn't love that?

Forward a few years and it was time to decide colleges and she started off at UBC, a pre-law major , ZTA sister and on her way to being a professional figure skater, obviously pretty happy with life. She and her high school boyfriend had gotten engaged at the dumb age of 18 but broke the entire relationship off just before she moved to Korea due to him cheating on her more than once. Speaking of the move to Korea... it wasn't until her sophomore year that she decided to transfer to Yonsei and spend time with her parents again, while her sister had settled into the Vancouver lifestyle and chose to stay behind. Without her sister by her side, Seolhyun honestly felt kind of lost, but that didn't stop her from connecting with her Zeta girls on the Eastern side of the world.
